Overview
Ukiko got divorced from her husband because she had an affair with one of his assistants at the office. The assistant quit the company and returned to his hometown. Ukiko followed him but was rejected and tried to commit suicide. She survived and returned home with her mother. She meets her cousin Hiroko, a school teacher with a nice husband and a three year old boy, but eventually becomes envious of their happy home life. Ukiko manages to have an affair with the husband and when Hiroko begins to suspect, things go from bad to worse
