Overview
Set in Belgium in 1999, the film follows Albert, a 35-year-old Walloon philosopher and French fry merchant whose shop straddles the linguistic border between Flanders and Wallonia. When a massive wall unexpectedly divides the country overnight, Albert's shop is split in two, leaving him on the French-speaking side. His desire to reunite with his Flemish love interest, Wendy, drives him to navigate the new border's challenges, including the need for a visa to enter Flanders
