Overview
Three stories by Guy de Maupassant are adapted to the screen: the Mask, the story of a man at a masked ball who pursues his youth, the Model, a story of a painter and the model that he pursues to tragedy; and the House of Madame Tellier; a madame and her five ladies attend her niece's first communion. Adapted for an English speaking audience, the second and third episode order has been switched from the original French release, and Peter Ustinov provides English narration between the stories
