Overview
An upper East Side socialite Catherine Chandler is young, beautiful and intelligent. But she is trouble by the superficiality upon which her life is built. Fleeing a party she is attacked by a gang of thugs and left in Central Park. There she is discovered by Vincent, a mysterious man/beast, who takes her to the vast labyrinth of tunnels under New York City, which he calls home. She is at first repulsed by his appearance, but, as he nurses her back to health she comes to appreciate him and before she returns to her own world a bond was formed between them
