Overview
The story of the men who served in the most decorated unit in the U.S. Army in World War II--the all-Japanese-American unit of the 442nd combat infantry. Most of the members were volunteers who joined after being held in U.S. detention camps with their families. Makes use of archival photographs and film as well as interviews and remarks by veterans of the unit, including Senator Daniel Inouye of Hawaii
