Tells the story of James Walker, a 27 year-old youth who, while trying to hold down two jobs, got into the dangerous habit of taking drugs, called uppers and downers, to stay awake and then to help him sleep. The effect of these drugs caused him to be involved in an accident and explosion at the industrial warehouse where he worked that killed him and seriously injured five of his co-workers. The drugs were discovered in his blood during an autopsy. Includes interviews with his co-workers, and with doctors and drug rehabilitation counselors which underline the risks and dangers of the abusive use of drugs, even prescription drugs, especially while one is at work

In this investigative newscast, McCaffrey uncovers hard facts about the effects of substance abuse on the human body and mind. Aims to inform workers about the safety and health hazards caused by alcohol and drug use in the workplace
