This first film by Colombian producer/director Luis Ospina is an obvious metaphor that relates vampirism to the social oppression of the poor by the ruling classes. Here a powerful Colombian industrialist must survive through the blood of young boys, blood that comes from victims selected from a different class than the proletariat
