A compilation of six excerpts and one short film (chiefly documentaries) from the collection of the National Film Board of Canada, forming Part 2 in a three-part series entitled Media and Society. The selections grouped together in this section raise questions about the visual representation of women (Canadian women in particular) in the mass media. The first four excerpts all deal with the theme of women's role in society.
